HANDLING
The automatisation of transport and managing of board stacks inside a corrugated factory is more important day by day. Specially due to the requests from the end customer for security and control. A good planning and a proper handling circuit improves significantly the efficiency and profitability of the installed machinery.

Vertical Storage - WIP
Our latest project has been with the Rossmann Group in Bucharest. We participate in the construction of the new factory with a self-supporting, 18-metre-high, vertical warehouse and all the installation and controls for the factory’s internal logistics; from corrugator to finish goods.
Depalletizers up to 4M
The depalletizer of board stacks is especially useful for small converters who receive the board from outside sheet feeder. Such model allows to depalletize up to 1,8T of board with a pusher. It is useful even for solid board piles.
Loading and unloading fork lift stations
The loading stations for the head of the racking system are designed to raise up to 4T, with homogeneously distributed weight. The board lift uses a pneumatic device.
Turn table with roller and plastic chain XY 90º
To manage the turning points and reprocess of stacks to second manufacturing machines. XY units are very useful. The strong design allows a long time frame before maintenance is needed due to wear of wheels.
Turn table at prefeeder entrance
For the entrance of converting machines, especially for die cutters. We install the pivot device on those belts to allow the fully automatic or manual turn at 90 and 180 degrees.
Turn table with roller and plastic chain XY
For the management of cardboard reprocesses to different machines or adaptation of curved cartons that go especially to flat die-cutting, the tapes are installed with the possibility of a 90 and 180-degree stack rotation automatically.
Plastic belt conveyors
The plastic conveyors by Warak are lately driven by motor and drive kits together. We use profinet network which allows remote control anytime. The platform for the acetal belts is made using Okume treated wood which allows a low coefficient of friction and a very long-life span. Our belt structures have been already working over 10 years with no signs of base parts replacement.
Loading and unloading rack stations
The loading stations for the head of the vertical warehouse are designed to lift up to 3.5T of weight distributed in a non-homogeneous way but to ensure the lifting of the stacks with maximum stability.
Symmetric presses
The symmetric presses are designed to compact the combined stacks at stacker exit to end up with more stable blocks before entering the vertical rack. Their dimensions depend on the maximum dimensions of the rack cells, designed accordingly to the factory needs.
Distribution transfer cart
The transfer cart to feed converting machines takes the blocks from the exit of the vertical storage and deliver the corrugated stacks to the converting lines; depending on priority rules.
Shuttle carts
The small transfer carts are designed depending on their job. From double radar systems for high speed to bumper system for low speed and few cycles per hour.
Pushers and block configurations
The block formation to load into the rack is done following automatic rules to combine corrugated stacks. The grouping of corrugated stacks is done to handle more sqm per hour than conventional transfer carts.
The pallet inserter is dual, it allows palletizing individually and also two equal pallets at the same time. The robot arm can supply up to 10 different pallets in width, length and height dimensions. It reaches 90 individual pallets per hour and 140 in mixed production.
