The transfer unit is used to connect a modular printing line to a flatbed die-cutter equipped with a feeder with infeed plate.
The transfer unit collects the printed corrugated board in a flow of flaked sheets thanks to dedicated wheels that control the landing point of the incoming board, the position of the wheels is adjustable according to the length of the board sheet.
The flake sheet falls into the feeder of the flatbed die cutter.
The output end of the transfer unit is adjustable vertically and horizontally to match the position of the rear stop of the flatbed die cutter feed hopper.
The transfer unit electronically tracks the speed of the printing line so that the flaking percentage remains constant even when the speed changes, the speed reference can also be passed to the flatbed die cutter to keep the entire line at the same speed when modifying to increase/decrease its speed.
The transfer unit is mounted on rails for lateral movement so that the two machines can eventually operate off-line.
The transfer units fit into standard containers or trucks for transport.
